Paul heads the sustainable built environment and UK sustainable
planning services for ESD Ltd and has extensive experience in development
and regeneration involving low energy and renewable energy solutions..
Paul manages diverse programmes for the public and private sectors
in the fields of housing, non-domestic buildings and regeneration,
including building integrated renewable energy technologies.
As a registered architect he gained his doctorate in super-insulation
by designing, living in and monitoring one of the most energy efficient
houses in the UK with heating bills of £10 per year in the
mid 80s. Paul has expertise in energy analysis, sustainable buildings
and several renewable energy technologies. He is a member of the
Royal Institute of British Architects Sustainable Futures Committee.
